New Generation Scholars: Black Femme Freedom School (BFFS) is a space of radical possibility rooted in Black Feminist Thought and the legacy of Freedom Schools. Centering education as a tool for liberation, this program invites young scholars ages 14–18 to develop practical skills that promote agency and empower their future selves.
Guided by Restorative Justice and embodied learning, participants will engage theory through dialogue and immersive workshops in creative writing, gardening, and multimedia arts—cultivating spaces of critical inquiry, reflection, and healing.
