
Kelin Kimbrough, 21 years old, is a Baltimore city born video esayist focusing on the literature and scholarship of the black radical tradition providing the historical analysis necessary to understand as well as the solutions we need to pursue on our journey.
He seeks to educate, inspire and evoke thought amongst his peers to organize our workplaces and communities to obtain the political will necessary for liberation.

Daisha McIlwain, 22 years old, is a Baltimore based, spoken word artist and writer. Her work centers around themes inevitable to the human condition such as grief, love, interdependence, and trauma. She makes a point to center resolution and progress in her work.
She is excited to share more of her journey of self-discovery and self-actualization through writing during this fellowship

Khalil McFarlane, 19 years old, is a visual artist born and raised in Baltimore. He has always been surrounded by creative activity and culture.
He works with mixed media art, sampling different pieces of materials and literature.

Kaori Taylor, 20 years old, is a filmmaker and photographer from Baltimore, Maryland. Working primarily with film, Kaori is largely interested in documenting the black diaspora. As an artist with a background in Africana studies, she incorporates both the past and present of black life into her work.
Her art aims to bring the voices and stories of the black diaspora to the forefront in not only the art world, but also the political space.

Breyanna Dabney, 20 years old, is a photographer and digital artist. She works with an abstract style and is inspired by collage work. Breyanna plans to continue to evolve and expand her style of work during the fellowship.

Tey Saunders, 22 years old, is a designer, curator and advocate. They recently completed their undergraduate program at Stevenson University, majoring in Graphic Design.
They explore the lived experiences within the black community with the goal of incorporating their findings into their work. They are committed to honoring the youngest version of themselves by incorporating intuitive practices into their projects and portraying the importance of expression.

Sha-Shonna Rogers,22 years old, is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on filmmaking and photography from West Baltimore.
She is a student at Morgan State University and finds inspiration in her everyday surroundings and community that has influenced her creative style and process. Sha-Shonna aims to tell the many stories of her people the way they should be told through truth and connection.

Lory Charles, 20 years old, is an aspiring designer and interdisciplinary artist. She has primarily worked in filmmaking but also uses paint, photography, and sculpture within her pratice. She looks forward to expanding the breath of her work with a more collaborative aspect.
